My first Folkroots essay, “The Femme Fatale at the Fin-de-Siècle,” will be in the February issue of Realms of Fantasy. I’ve been told it will also be available online; I’ll let you know as soon as it comes out. Additionally, I have two new short stories coming out: “Pug” in Asimov’s, and “Christopher Raven” in Ghosts by Gaslight, edited by Nick Gevers and Jack Dann.
Two of my stories are going to be reprinted: “The Mad Scientist’s Daughter” in The Mad Scientist’s Guide to World Domination, edited by John Joseph Adams, and “Fair Ladies” in Jonathan Strahan’s The Best Science Fiction and Fantasy of the Year.
And by the way, both of those stories are eligible for the Nebula Awards this year. Just sayin’!
